5 sauces made with other sauce

We love sauce (obviously), and you probably love sauce too, that’s why you’re here, right?

Have you ever heard of sauce mixing?

‘Sauce-mixing’ seems like a weird concept; the thought of burger relish and barbeque sauce mixed doesn’t sound that satisfying. But the new taste sensation that follows it will blow your mind.

Sauce mixing or using sauce as an ingredient isn’t a new-fangled thing either. Mayonaise is a crucial ingredient in homemade ranch dressing and ketchup is vital for the perfect sweet and sour sauce.

We’re going to bring together a list of our favourite homemade sauce recipes which you can make with Harrisons sauce!

Vegan Ranch Dip

This ranch dip looks delicious, tastes exquisite and is entirely vegan. Which means you can use our brand new vegan mayonnaise and even try it with the cauliflower bites we mentioned in our last blog post!

Dijonaise

This Dijonaise is so easy to make it’s unreal! Whisk together mustard and mayonnaise, then add a sprinkle of pepper for the finishing touch! This recipe can be made with either vegan mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise; it depends entirely on your preference. Dijonaise originates from France and is used as a salad dressing or even the finishing touch on a sandwich.

Fry Sauce

Fry sauce is known by a few different names depending on where you come from, but the recipe pretty much stays the same. Mix mayonnaise and ketchup and add whatever seasonings you feel suit. This recipe from ‘kitchn’ encourages you to add paprika, pickle brine and a pinch of cayenne pepper. But even if you stick to the two core ingredients, fry sauce is a guaranteed hit.

Sweet and Sour Sauce

This homemade sweet and sour sauce is just as tasty as the takeaway. But did you know its made with ketchup? This homemade recipe from ‘Spend with Pennies’ uses a large amount of ketchup in her tangy sweet and sour and recommends using it as a sauce, dip or even a marinade for your favourite chicken-based dishes.

White Barbeque Sauce

We’re absolutely in love with this white barbeque sauce; it uses a mayonnaise base instead of a tomato or vinegar base. The author of this life-changing recipe recommends pairing it with chicken, pork or fries. It can even be used as a sandwich spread if you’re feeling fancy.
